MI vs RCB Dream 11 team Prediction: Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for MI vs RCB as The SportsRush helps you to form the best Dream 11 Team.

The Wankhede is going to witness a high octane clash on Monday when two IPL heavyweights in RCB and MI take on each other in what is a must-win encounter for the men from Bangalore. After the start that they have had, every game from now on is a must win one for them, if they want to keep matters in their own hands.

The Virat Kohli led outfit secured their first win in the IPL 2019 season a couple of days back when KXIP became the first team to end up on the losing side whilst playing RCB this season. RCB will now be hoping that a few of the other teams also follow suit and help them in this late surge of making it to the playoffs.

MI on the other hand suffered a thumping loss at the hands of RR at the Wankhede in their last outing and would be wanting to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Let’s get to business now.

MI vs RCB Dream 11 team Prediction

Wicketkeeper for MI vs RCB Dream 11

For the wicketkeeping slot, it is going to be a direct shootout between QDK and Parthiv Patel. While both these batsmen open the batting for their respective teams, on current form and general skill level, QDK seems like the better option.

Even in the loss against RR, QDK top scored for MI with 82 runs and is their highest run getter this season. While Parthiv has played  his part for RCB, he can in no way match up to what QDK has done and has the ability to do.

Bowlers for MI vs RCB Dream 11

I’ll once again go in with bowlers that are not worth a lot of money, especially considering the fact that Wankhede is a graveyard for bowlers.

Navdeep Saini has been talked about a lot in the last few days, with reports doing the rounds that he could be India’s 4th pacer for the 2019 World Cup. Having not played even a single ODI game for India, that seems unlikely, but there is clearly a reason why his name has been attached with that 4th fast bowler role.

Saini has toiled away hard in the domestic circuit and in the IPL this season. While he hasn’t been really successful in the IPL, he has for sure impressed everyone with his raw pace. At just 8cr, he is a brilliant buy. Get him in.

Rahul Chahar is the lone specialist spinner for MI with Mayank Markande still recovering from an injury. With RCB having 4 right handers in their top 6, Chahar could come in handy, keeping in mind that historically both Kohli and ABD have struggled against good quality leg spin. Again, at 8cr, Chahar is a brilliant buy, one that also helps me get in those high profile batsmen from this game.

For the final bowling pick, I get in Lasith Malinga, if he plays, as his death bowling skills are sure to earn me some fantasy points. Now, if Malinga doesn’t play, I’ll get in Jason Behrendorff, who I rate ahead of Alzarri Joseph at the moment, just because of his left-arm angle(Yes, I am speaking like a BCCI official here, but there is no other way to explain this).

All-Rounders for MI vs RCB Dream 11

The Pandya brothers have impressed in that MI outfit once again, with Hardik taking centre stage after all that he has been through this season.

The MI and India pace bowling all-rounder has been the major aggressor for MI during the death overs and has always been handed the ball when the team is in need of a breakthrough. At the death, with the bat, he could be lethal; get him in at all costs.

Krunal Pandya has been used for 4 overs with the ball in almost every game, but his batting position has been a bit erratic. While he was entrusted with that number 5 role early on in the season; the MI think tank have now pushed him to number 7. However, it is his wiley old off-spinners that interest me more, as he has the capability to trouble the 4 out of 6 righties in the RCB top order.

For my final all-rounder pick for, I would be going in with Marcus Stoinis. The Australian all-rounder has been entrusted with the role of finishing innings for RCB, be it while setting a total or while chasing it down.

With the ball too he has been chipping in with a few slower one’s in the middle phase, one’s that the batsmen find hard to score off and could throw their wicket away if not dealt with properly.

Batsmen for MI vs RCB Dream 11

Virat Kohli and ABD would be the first two batsmen that I get in for this game. The duo has been RCB’s lynchpin for a long time now, shouldering the responsibility of winning games for the franchise no matter what the game condition.

While they were off to a slow start this season, both Kohli and ABD have been amongst the runs in the last few games. And when the two are on fire, there isn’t a scarier and prettier sight in world cricket. On a flat Wankhede deck, trust them to take the attack to MI and maybe come on top in that tricky encounter.

Rohit Sharma recovered completely from that little injury scare prior to the loss against RR. He did play a  good hand of 40 odd in his return game but couldn’t really go onto score a big one. That big one seems just round the corner now, as Rohit seemed in impeccable form in his last game and that RCB bowling unit could play right into his hands in MI’s last home game for a while.

For my final batting pick for this game, I go in with Ishan Kishan, who comes in as a budget pick. The young left-hander has been drafted in for that number 4 role after Yuvi failed to make that spot his own in the first few games. While he hasn’t really been able to kick on for MI, his batting position makes me opt for him. At 4, he should  be provided with a good opportunity to affect the game and is thus my best option at 8.5cr.
