Mitchell Johnson taunts a Virat Kohli fan

Mitchell Johnson taunts a Virat Kohli fan: The former Australian fast bowler turned up the heat on Twitter.

India captain Virat Kohli forced everyone to be in awe of him at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi last night. Having registered his second consecutive ODI century and 41st overall, Kohli had nearly scripted another masterful ODI chase.

In what eventually wasn’t to be, Kohli ended up scoring 123 (95) with the help of 16 fours and a six. For the 34 overs which Kohli batted in the middle, he oozed class of the highest nature. Perhaps, it was the reason why he claimed this century to be one of his finest as far as timing the ball was concerned.

Former Australia fast bowler Mitchell Johnson, who is currently in India for a commentary stint with host broadcaster Star Spots, was another of those cricketers who tweeted for the Indian skipper after he brought up his century. Despite mentioning about the innings, Johnson called for an Australian victory.

Usually active on social media platform Twitter, Johnson’s attention was caught by a fan who had tagged him in his tweet. Highlighting that 41 is just a number for Kohli, the fan demanded for Kohli’s DNA Test before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Mitchell Johnson takes a dig

Laying emphasis on the 30-year old cricketer shattering all records during the world event, Johnson was witnessed as taunting the Indian fan. The southpaw made it clear that the numbers which matter the most are the World Cup titles.

There is no hiding from the fact that Australia outnumbers every other nation in terms of World Cup victories. With two World Cup titles to their name, India and West Indies are the joint second-highest on the list. However, Australia tops the list with a staggering five World Cup titles under their belt.

How Twitter reacted:

India and Australia will play the fourth ODI tomorrow at Mohali.
