MLD vs MAL Dream 11 Team: Two well versed batting units look to get the better of each other in a match which could eventually shape up how the league table ends up.
Malaysia Vs Maldives T20 Best Dream 11 Team
Three countries, six days and six matches. For these upcoming Asian sides, the tri-nation T20 series holds immense status, being the first time ever the three sides are playing in a full fledged series after being granted official status by the ICC in the T20 format.
In today’s encounter from the land of the series, we head into the second match of the series with visitors Maldives taking on Malaysia. In what is the tournament opener for Maldives with Malaysia having already played against Thailand a day before, the match for Maldives holds momentous importance.
The small island country made it big on the international circuit in the recently concluded ACC qualifiers, tournament where their batting brought to the table several determined and gutsy performances. Still a relatively new entrant on the arena, the country further got a boost when India agreed to gift the country a cricket stadium, further strengthening the ever growing ties between the two countries.
Elsewhere, the most highly ranked country in this frontier event, Malaysia will be looking to register an extremely easy win. They have established a stronghold in cricket, heading into the ACC Regional Qualifiers next month after finishing third in last year’ qualifiers. Its especially the bowling unit which makes for a formidable unit with the country having put down Myanmar for 9 runs in a T20 encounter last year.
The two countries have faced off against each other eight times till date in T20 encounters with Malaysia winning all of them and we don’t see the narrative changing today as well. Ranked 74th in the world out of 105 countries, Maldives are a side who are currently in progress at the moment.
We see an extremely one sided contest in this one with Maldives being decimated in the match. They won’t be accorded the slightest bit of breathing space and Malaysia should see them off easily in the second match of the three country series.
Wicket-Keepers for MLD vs MAL Dream 11
Both the wicket-keeper’s from either side make an entry into out unit. Both are openers, players responsible for taking accountability on themselves to put in a solid foundation for their sides and we see them coming good in this match as well. From Malaysia is Shafiq Sharif while Maldives see Hassan Rasheed come in.
Batsmen for MLD vs MAL Dream 11
In these two teams, we have two sublime and graceful batting units, two batting line-ups who are bound to regale us in their soiree. They’ll entertain us in a proper T20 encounter, finding the boundary at will owing to their expansive and prestigious skill set and this sees us pick up 4 batsmen, the two from either country.
We’ll begin with Malaysia first with captain Ahmad Faiz and opener Virandeep Singh coming into our line-up. From Maldives its Mohamed Rishwan and Umar Adam with Rishwan in particular being someone we have high expectations from. He was the main reason for Maldives crossing the symbolic milestone of 100 in all their four encounters in the ACC qualifiers and should hold firm from one side as well and wage a battle for his side.
All-Rounders for MLD vs MAL Dream 11
In all our Dream 11 teams for T20 clashes, we always look to imbed the maximum number of all-rounders in our line-up, given the abilities imbued in them as a player. They always come good in this format and staying true to that, we have the two all-rounders coming in for us.
The one pick apiece from either country sees all-rounders who come in high up the order and are ascertained to bowl out their four overs as well. Malaysia are represented by Sharvin Muniandy while from Maldives we have decided to divulge in Ameel Mauroof. He’s a terrific bowler, one bound to be amongst the wickets and is more than able to come good with the bat as well.
Bowling Order for MLD vs MAL Dream 11
We’ll begin with Malaysia’s bowlers first to wrap up the third and concluding facet of our Dream 11 side. In that fabulous showing which saw them truncate Myanmar’s innings for just 9 runs, Anwar Rashid got himself a nice little two wickets. He’s only gone onto build on that performance ever since and the stoutheaded pacer becomes the first of our picks while Abdul Rashid will accompany him.
The only selection from an equally strong and astounding Maldives line-up is in the form of Ibrahim Hassan.
Captain And Vice-Captain
Virandeep Singh is the captain choice for us for the second match on a bounce while Malaysia’s Anwar Rashid has been selected to become the vice-captain in this particular encounter.
