Mohamed Salah to Juventus

Mohamed Salah to Juventus: The Liverpool superstar has been the leading goalscorer in the Premier League this season.

Salah has been one of the key performers for Klopp’s side ever since joining Liverpool last season.

He ended the 2017/18 season as the highest goalscorer in the league, breaking Cristiano Ronaldo’s Premier League goalscoring record for a single season.

This season, Salah had a slow start owing to a sustained shoulder injury and the World Cup in the summer, but picked up the pace soon enough. The Egyptian forward is the joint-top goalscorer in the league at the moment with Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

He built his reputations as one of the best forwards in football, and so, the speculations over his move to some of the European giants have been making headlines ever since the end of the last season. This time, however, the transfer rumour has been a bit outrageous.

Mohamed Salah to Juventus:

It has been reported by Sky Arabia that Juventus are preparing a massive bid for the Liverpool superstar.

The amount could go over €200m, as per the report.

Mohamed Salah has been linked with European heavyweights like Real Madrid and was seen as one of the top targets for the club after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Sky Arabia’s sources, Juventus have come to an internal decision to begin talks with Mohamed Salah over a potential transfer to Turin. The deal will reportedly make Salah the second-most expensive player in football after Neymar, who signed for PSG for €222m in 2017.

Salah took his overall goal tally to 20 goals for Liverpool last weekend against Bournemouth. He is the first forward since Luis Suarez to score 20+ goals for two consecutive seasons for Liverpool.

The side is currently second in the Premier League, but hold a game’s advantage over Manchester City who registered a crushing 6-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday.

Liverpool will play against Bayern Munich at Anfield in their first leg of the Champions League’s round-of-16 tie next week.
