CSK captain gives suggestions to Shivam Dube

CSK captain gives suggestions to Shivam Dube: The veteran cricketer was seen giving suggestions to the rookie all-rounder.

According to Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli, the only positive in his team getting all out on 70 was that a game like this being out of their way now. While that might be the only positive in an otherwise shambolic performance from Royal Challengers as a team, some of their rookie players searched for positives even after the match got over.

In what was a successful attempt on the part of these players, they ended up getting to meet Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for an on-field discussion after the match got over.

It was the all-rounder-duo of Washington Sundar and Shivam Dube who were witnessed receiving advises from the veteran cricketer. Standing near the sponsor boards, Dube seemed to be asking some batting tips from MS Dhoni.

For someone who bats lower down the order and has come with a reputation of finishing innings, Dube will have no one better than Dhoni to ask for suggestions on this division on cricket. Having done that, the Mumbai cricketer gave the impression of making the most of his off-the-field opportunity.

Coming on the back of some praiseworthy all-round performances, Dube made his IPL debut last night. Coming in to bat at No. 6 in the ninth over, the 25-year old cricketer didn’t last for more than two deliveries against veteran Super Kings spinner Imran Tahir.

Walking back to the pavilion for a duck on a much-discussed IPL debut would have been the last thing on Dube’s mind, but RCB are expected to give him a long run this season.
