Dhoni is Brand Ambassador of Indian Army
In a recent interview with IANS, a senior army official claimed Dhoni to be the brand ambassador of the Indian army. The official further explained how Dhoni has undertaken several battle training exercises with the corps.
“[MS] Dhoni is a brand ambassador of the Indian Army. He has engaged in motivating members of his unit and has often been playing football and volleyball with the soldiers. He is also undertaking battle training exercises with the corps. He will remain in the valley till August 15,” the senior official was quoted as saying.
If another set of reports are to be believed, Dhoni will unfurl the Indian flag during the hoisting ceremony on the Independence Day before going back. While there is no official confirmation on the same, it is believed that Dhoni will attend the Independence Day ceremony in Ladakh.
As recent as yesterday, a viral video regarding Dhoni was doing the rounds. It was reported by a Pakistani channel that Dhoni was greeted with chants of “Boom Boom Afridi” upon his arrival in Baramullah.
