MUN vs BAR Dream 11 prediction: Dream 11 fantasy tips for Barcelona vs Man Utd

Barcelona will take on Manchester United in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal on Tuesday night. Let’s take a look at MUN vs BAR Dream 11 prediction.

Barcelona hosts Manchester United in the quarterfinal of the Champions League. The side registered a narrow 1-0 victory over Solskjaer’s side in the first leg, with Luke Shaw’s own goal making the sole difference.

However, Valverde’s men will aim to finish the tie in the opening stages of the game on Tuesday night, as they’re wary of Manchester United’s threat.

Manchester United secured a shock 3-1 win in the second leg of the round-of-16 tie against PSG last month, thus making a dramatic turnaround to reach the quarterfinals. Solskjaer’s team played the counter-attacking game and succeeded, with Lukaku scoring two quick goals in the first half.

As we await the high-voltage clash between the two sides, let’s take a look at the Dream 11 fantasy tips for Barcelona vs Man Utd. You can see the predicted line ups of both the sides here –

MUN vs BAR Dream 11 prediction:

Goalkeeper: Marc-Andre ter Stegen

As with my previous team, I’ll go with the Barcelona keeper for this game. Ter Stegen was largely undisturbed during the game against Manchester United in the first leg, with the host side failing to register a single shot on target.

While I acknowledge the fact that Solskjaer’s side comes to Camp Nou with the aim of turning around the tie, I place my money on Ter Stegen’s amazing goalkeeping abilities. The Barcelona keeper has the fourth-highest saving rate across Europe’s top-5 leagues so far.

Defenders: Lindelof, Dalot, Alba, Pique, Semedo

I’m going with a similar backline from the Barcelona team. Gerard Pique was immense for the Catalan side in the first leg at Old Trafford. Jordi Alba still has work to do when he goes forward, however.

I’ve added Diogo Dalot to my Dream 11 team as I believe he will have a crucial role to play in the game. With Manchester United searching for an opening, Solskjaer could use Dalot’s place early in the game to fire crosses to the attackers. Dalot could also be useful because he often takes shots at goal – and remember, it was his shot which won the penalty for United against PSG.

Midfield: Pogba, McTominay, Dembele

Paul Pogba will be Manchester United’s key player in this game. The Frenchman did a good job in shutting down Sergio Busquets in the first leg, but needs to improve on the attacking front.

Pogba could also be useful in penalties, as I believe that the counter-attacking tactics could also help the side win a spot-kick. Manchester United won a reasonable amount of free-kicks in the first leg. In their last game against West Ham, Pogba scored both the goals through penalties.

Ousmane Dembele returned to action in the weekend clash against Huesca, and could make a major difference in the game against Manchester United.

Forward: Lionel Messi (c), Suarez (v-c)

I place my money on the Barcelona duo to provide the side with breakthroughs in the game. Messi was injured early in the first leg and failed to make a significant contribution throughout the game, but I expect the Barca captain to shine at Camp Nou.

Manchester United’s defence hardly oozes confidence and both, Messi and Suarez could exploit their weaknesses.
