TheSportsRush brings Young Boys vs Manchester United highlights as Mourinho’s men cruise to 3-0 victory.
Manchester United eased past Swiss champions BSC Young Boys in their Champions League opener 3-0 to kick start their European campaign with a win.
United’s captain for the night, Paul Pogba scored a brace in the first half, while fellow Frenchman Anthony Martial completed a perfect win for the English side.
Young Boys threatened Manchester United in the opening few minutes of the match, but United soon began to dominate the proceedings in the match. Paul Pogba opened the scoring with a terrific goal, and doubled the lead towards the end of the first half with a solid penalty.
Pogba also assisted Anthony Martial for United’s third goal of the night, as Manchester United secured three points in their first Champions League match of the season.
Juventus beat Valencia 2-0 in the other group match, however they received a blow in the first half when Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off with a straight red. Whether Ronaldo will be available for the match against Manchester United at Old Trafford and Turin is yet to be determined, however.
Here are some of the tweets from the match:
Manchester United go 2 up away as Manchester City go 2 down at home. Funny old game.

United win a game they were expected to but it was still an impressive performance on a night that looked like an accident waiting to happen. Dalot, Pogba, Smalling and Lindelof all good. Great start.

Martial has scored for Man Utd, Renato Sanches has scored for Bayern Munich and Ronaldo has been sent off.
That’s why the Champions League is best thing there is for entertainment value. Miles better than Eastenders.

Admittedly I am of a nervous disposition in general but I really, really, really hate Pogba’s penalty run up. Until it’s proven over 10+ penalties it works, I’m convinced it’ll fail.

Memphis has two assists against Man City. Probably his best performance in Manchester since Midgtyland. 😂

Took Dalot 70 seconds to put in a better cross than Valencia has in 2 seasons.

Really want to see Dalot get more game time, looks very promising with top notch end product. Could maybe see him competing for that Right back spot with Valencia this season.
