With Kevin Harvick set to retire at the end of the 2023 Cup Series season, there were plenty of speculations about the future of his primary sponsor, Busch Light. Those questions can be put to rest, as it was announced recently that the beer brand will be joining forces with Trackhouse Racing driver Ross Chastain in a multi-year deal.

Coming from a family of watermelon farmers, Chastain has catapulted himself into superstardom after his on-track performances (and antics) over the last two years. After the announcement, Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks expressed excitement over the new partnership.
Justin Marks on what the deal means for Trackhouse Racing and Ross Chastain
While speaking on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, the owner said, “A lot of teams were in the picture here, a lot of great drivers, great teams, and you know, when Kevin decided that it was time for him to hang his helmet up. Obviously, this sport is so important to Busch Light, and Busch Light is so important to the sport that there was no doubt in anybody’s mind that they weren’t gonna continue to be on a race car.”
🤝 “Earlier this year […] the executives said ‘We’d love to have a future with Trackhouse if you’ll have us.’ Just an incredible, pinch me moment.”

Marks was also all praises for Chastain, hailing the #1 driver on his incredible journey so far, and is excited to see how the partnership pays dividends from next year. He added, “Ross has already accomplished so much in his career and we’re so proud that an iconic brand like Busch Light sees his commitment not only to the sport but to his fans. Being sponsored by the official beer of NASCAR is such an honor and we can’t wait to see what Ross and Busch Light accomplish together in 2024 and beyond.”
Kevin Harvick had a special relationship with Busch Light
The Kevin Harvick-Busch Light partnership, starting in 2016, was a highly successful one. Over eight years, the #4 won 29 races, had 16 poles, with an impressive 112 Top 5s. Childers also posted an emotional message, tweeting, “It’s been an incredible ride and an honor to have them be part of our team. I wish them nothing but the best in the future.”

The partnership between Ross Chastain and the ‘Official Beer of NASCAR’ seems to be a match made in heaven. Only time will tell if the on-track success of the #4 and the beer brand can be replicated by one of the most colorful characters in the sport.
