The Developers have been very mysterious with the details they’ve shared about 2K21, but here’s what we found out from the game demo.
1. Additions to MyCareer and Neighborhood
NBA 2K21’s newest trailer included some huge new features for MyCAREER and The Neighborhood.
They have added NCAA college basketball in MyCAREER and 2K Beach in The Neighborhood!
2. Gameplay changes
2K21 aims to bring by significant changes to the gameplay, with the introduction of the Pro Stick, and much more.
The changes would include defensive motion packages, new shooting animations, and new dunk animations. It is believed to change the user experience altogether and make it more realistic.
3. Badges
Every 2k player knows how important badges are to become better and succeed, and 2K21 has made significant improvements to badges.

The ever so problematic Quick Draw badge has been dropped in 2K21 and a new data-driven system has been introduced. This could mean a better badge system!
4. New MyTeam Features
MyTeam is a very integral part of the 2k process. Players spend a good portion of their playing time on the MyTeam page. There have been huge upgrades teased on the MyTeam page in 2k21.
The launch of MyTEAM Limited, which will be a new weekend game mode that will restrict roster building in different ways, balancing the playing field and introducing more strategy to MyTEAM is something we look forward to!
Another interesting thing teased was seasons, which will shake MyTEAM up with new rewards, game types, and more throughout the year.
5. Mamba Forever Edition
The Mamba Forever Edition solves the biggest concern any person has for 2k21. The edition would let you play the game on the current-gen console, and also give you access to the next-gen console, with all it’s new and undisclosed features.
Additional Bonus: Soundtrack
2k21 boasts one of the best soundtracks of any 2k game yet. Some of the highlights on the list include The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Pop Smoke, Lil Baby, Stormzy, Juice WRLD, and Jay Critch among plenty more.
