“Ask Klay Thompson”: FS1 Analyst Warns JaMychal Green of Consequences for Throwing Shade at LeBron James

JaMychal Green made headlines when he called “cap” on LeBron James. The Warriors forward did not agree with The King’s claims that the Lakers don’t “work on flopping”. Well, to the naked eye, it looks like some good old trash talk. But, FS1 analyst, Shannon Sharpe has warned Green and has reminded him about Klay Thompson.

If the series between the Lakers and the Grizzlies showed us anything, it’s that you never talk trash to King James. Dillon Brooks learned that the hard way. And, now, he finds himself wondering where he will end up next season.

So, when JaMychal Green decided to post a story on Instagram calling out LeBron, many wondered if it was the right idea. After all, his superstar teammate Klay is another NBA player who has come to regret throwing shade.

Everybody knows that Shannon Sharpe is one of the biggest LeBron James fans. The former NFL tight end is a die-hard King James stan and regularly defends him from criticism. Something that happens often, seeing as he’s an FS1 analyst and has to work alongside Skip Bayless.

Well, the 2022-2023 season has seen him do a lot of that. Seeing, as things didn’t start out well for King James and the Lakers. But, now the Purple and Gold are flying high and are just a game away from reaching the Western Conference Finals. However, there are still those that wish to put Bron down.

The latest to take a shot is JaMychal Green. But, of course, Uncle Shannon is there to protect the four-time NBA Champion. He began by brutally stating that Green is lucky he even has a job before reminding the Warriors star about Klay Thompson on UNDISPUTED. After all, the three-point shooting specialist tried throwing shade at Bron back in 2016. And, we all know how that ended.

“Normally when guys take shots at LeBron during the post-season it doesn’t go very well. Ask Klay Thompson! When he said LeBron was crying! How did that work out for him? Dillon Brook…he poked the bear. JaMychal Green…bruh just play…just play!”

Some sage advice from Shannon. Especially considering the Warriors are behind 3-2 heading into Game 6. JaMychal will be hoping his words don’t come back to bite him.

JaMychal Green’s timing couldn’t have been worse. Sure, he shared his views following a Game 5 win over the Lakers, but Game 6 is looming. And, with the Lakers leading 3-2, LeBron James could be sending Golden State back home later tonight.

It’s certainly going to be an entertaining game. Can LeBron take his team to another Western Conference Finals? Or will Steph Curry, JaMychal Green, and the Warriors put up a fight?
