Russell Westbrook’s team up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis has not been without controversy.
The star power can’t be argued with. However, there are going to be some serious problems with the team, with just two of the biggest being the lack of spacing and awkward fit between the players.
Because of these worries, many have wondered if the team can really be good enough to even make the NBA finals. In fact, even fans of the Lakers have had their doubts about this roster.
However, it appears that former NBA player and now ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins has absolutely no doubts about this team’s greatness.

Big Perk has never been the kind of analyst that bites his tongue, which is part of the reason why we love him so much. Even when his verdict may be perhaps the farthest thing from right at times, his passion and conviction make him the purest form of comedy on NBA television.
Recently though, his take was perhaps closer to true than comedic. Take a look at the tweet below to see what he said.

The Lakers have a lot to figure out with regards to this team. So, it’ll be fun to see how this franchise, and how the conversation around it progresses during this upcoming season.
