Bronny James is rising up the charts on NBA scouts’ boards as possibly one of the premier prospects. And frankly, it’s not hard to see why. At 6’3” the young man has his father’s elite athleticism. Further, his feel for the game is incredible, his shooting ability is very, very good, and his overall scoring ability is improving rapidly.

With all these factors going for him, of course, Bronny James’s confidence is rising and doing so incredibly quickly. And that may have resulted in him getting a little bit of a silly technical foul, during a recent game.
And it is one that LeBron James got to see happen right in front of his eyes.
Bronny James gets a technical foul for smacking the backboard after a sensational play
As mentioned before, Bronny James has his father’s elite athleticism. And as you’d expect, that allows him to perform some very impressive feats during games. Something he did yet again during a recent Sierra Canyon game.
The only problem there is, he added just a little too much spice right after for the official’s liking.
Bronny James slams home a huge lob, smacks the backboard with his left hand, and gets called for a tech. Parents LeBron and Savannah can’t believe it. Bronny just grins. Sierra Canyon up 48-28 over Crespi. pic.twitter.com/VqkcPpn6HB

LeBron James and family may have wanted to contest the call at the time. However, even they knew that the call wasn’t unfair.
Smacking the backboard has long been considered to be a bit of a taunt to the other team. And no matter who does it, when it happens, a technical foul is dished out.
Still, Bronny James shouldn’t be criticized too hard by anyone but his father for this. The man was simply enjoying the game, and it happened.
If that is as bad as it got, that isn’t too bad a thing to happen.
How far away is Bronny James from the NBA?
Bronny James is now 18 years old.
Now, the bad news is that means we’re all getting very, very old.
But on the bright side, it means that the man is about a year away from being eligible to declare for the NBA Draft.
Still, there isn’t long left now for fans to watch him play in the NBA, perhaps even alongside LeBron James.
