With Giannis(last year’s MVP) leading the pack for the bucks, they are strong contenders to win the NBA title this season.
No team has ever outscored its opponents by a larger average margin. No team has ever clinched a playoff spot at an earlier date.
They are surely one of the favorites to clinch the NBA title.
Bucks predicted lineup for the restart-
Bucks’ lineup for the Orlando restart should remain the same that it is been for the majority of the season. Without any injuries, the bucks could possibly line up with:-
-
Point Guard- Eric Bledsoe
The former Phoenix Suns point guard has really come of age this season for the Bucks. Standing at 6’1 he may not be the tallest but is pretty quick in spotting teammates and starting of plays. He averages 15.4 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, and 5.4 assists per game this season.
-
Shooting Guard- Wesley Matthews
The 33-year-old, signed with Bucks in July 2019. He has often been rotated with players of the bench, but usually starts the match at shooting guard. He averages 7.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists this season.
-
Power Forward- Giannis Antetokounmpo
Last years’ MVP, also known as the ‘Greek Freak’ is the best player for the bucks and arguably the best player in the NBA at the moment. Giannis can play in any position for the Bucks highlighting his versatility. He averages 29.6 points per game, 13.7 rebounds per game, 5.8 assists per game this season. With such stats, he can surely clinch successive MVP awards this season.
-
Small Forward- Khris Middleton
After Giannis, he is the second-best player in the Bucks line up. He has been named in the NBA All-Star team two times(2019,2020). He is great at the transition from defense to attack and provides much-needed support to Giannis. This season he has averaged 21.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
-
Center- Brook Lopez
The 7ft tall Bucks center has had a decent year for the bucks, providing the presence of a big man around the paint. He has averaged 11 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game this season. He is surprisingly the Bucks best 3-point shooter this term.
