Stephen A. Smith throws some hilarious shade at NBA legend turned TNT analyst Charles Barkley and the Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have been a bit up and down this season. After the additions they made to their roster ahead of this season, many expected them to be the first seed yet again. However, the uprising of the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers has confined them to being third in the East.
The team has struggled to find consistency this season, causing many to be skeptical about their ability in the postseason. Despite this, Charles Barkley publicly came out in support of the franchise recently, saying that team will make the NBA finals this year.
Given the unreliability of Sir Charles’s predictions, many in the NBA community are not convinced. In fact, several have taken the time to clown Chuck instead. And it seems ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith couldn’t help but get in on the action.
“I love my brother Chuck, but we all know his ‘guarantee’.”: Stephen A. Smith hilariously rips into Charles Barkley and the Milwaukee Bucks
Much like Barkley, Stephen A. Smith has made a name for himself as an analyst in the NBA community, but in completely different fashion. The ESPN analyst is known for his passionate, and sometimes hilarious takes on sports, while also making some serious hot takes at times.
And in an episode of ESPN’s first take, it seems the 53-year-old had his comedian boots on. After hearing Charles Barkley’s prediction for the Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs this season, this is what he had to say.

“You wanna know why the Bucks are not going to win the East? Because Charles Barkley said they will… It’s just that simple. I love my brother Chuck, but we all know about his ‘guarantee.’ … It’s alright because God knows I’ve been wrong, too. But I’m just messing with my brother right there, but that’s how you really, really know they’re not going to win the East because Chuck said they were going to win the East. That’s just the way it goes.”
To be fair to Stephen A. Smith here, isn’t exactly wrong here. After all, Charles Barkley was the same person who brought out the broom in favor of the Blazers against the Lakers in these past playoffs.
Still, whether or not the Milwaukee Bucks can actually make the finals is still up for debate. And it will be interesting to see how the team performs in this upcoming postseason.
