Goon Squad star Klay Thompson makes his pick between LeBron James and Bugs Bunny in an intense 1v1 matchup

 

This matchup between LeBron James’s Tune Squad, and Klay Thompson’s Goon Squad is going to be a good one.

Fans of a previous generation, who had grown up watching the 1^st Space Jam movie probably didn’t expect a sequel to their beloved wacky film starring Michael Jordan. However, here we are, and this one is just a few short days away from its release.

Apart from LeBron James of course, some of the biggest stars appearing in this film are Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, and obviously Bugs Bunny. In fact, it is starting to seem that ol’ Bugs may just have the King beat in star power.

Thompson was recently interviewed about who he’d pick between Bunny and James. And well, let’s just say that the man in this matchup won’t like the answer.

Klay Thompson picks Bugs Bunny to win in a 1v1 against LeBron James because of his astronomical experience

You know, at first, that sounds like such a hot take, it’d even make Skip Bayless blush. However, once you listen to Klay’s reasoning, we must say, there couldn’t be a more obvious answer to the question. Here is what he said.

“LeBron is Mr. triple-double threat. He could do it on both sides of the ball. But Bugs Bunny has been doing it for a lot longer, maybe like 80 to 100 years now. LeBron’s only been doing it professionally since what, ’03?”

At 36-years-old, LeBron James isn’t exactly what you’d call a young player. However, his career as opposed to an 80–100-year veteran who has continued to defy father time?
