“Cats Aren’t Real Pets!”: Charles Barkley Stirs Up NBA Twitter With His Controversial Take

Inside the NBA is a gem of a basketball show. After not getting the broadcast for almost a month due to March Madness, it is back and in full swing. The NBA Playoffs have Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith on our screens multiple times a week.

Today the guys are covering two out of the four games on-air. First, they covered the Celtics-Hawks game, where Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the Cs to a 3-1 lead now. After that, they’re showcasing the 4th game of the Nuggets-Timberwolves series.

During the half-time of the Wolves-Nuggets game, the guys complained about how the Timberwolves, who are on the verge of being swept, were playing with no urgency. After that, we saw Shaq trying to egg Kenny for a race, after Ernie beat Kenny earlier tonight.

After failing to do so, the guys shared memes on Kenny.

Charles Barkley makes outrageous ‘cat claim’ after jokes on Kenny Smith

After Kenny got smoked by Ernie Johnson today, he has been acting a little different. The guys noticed it, and started sharing memes about it. A fan shared this on Twitter, and they showed the same on-air.

Kenny embraced the meme and said, “I am a cat.”

After hearing this, Charles Barkley had to butt in and put forth his opinion.

Man, Chuck can never cease to surprise us with his opinions and takes. NBA Twitter heard the same and they couldn’t help but troll.

NBA Twitter reacts to Chuck’s cat statement

With the Timberwovles-Nuggets game stopped for the half-time break, fans were eagerly tuned into the halftime show. When Chuck made the cat statement, fans couldn’t help but react.

Well, we just hope the ‘cat ladies’ don’t get to Chuck or he would have a rather tough time explaining his way out of this situation.
