Long time supporter Skip Bayless signs out on the Clippers ahead of their game-7 against the Mavericks in Los Angeles.

This series between the Dallas Mavericks and the Kawhi Leonard-led LA Clippers just continues to deliver. In Dallas, the away team was stuck in a do-or-die situation. Essentially, if they lost this game, they’d be going home. And man did they not want to go home.
Leonard played at his terminator best, dropping an astounding 45 points during this game, on 72% from the field, and 55.6% from beyond the arc. Adding to this, he also had 6 rebounds, 2 assists.
The player shined on the defensive end as well, essentially locking up whoever he was on. He even imposed himself on the usually unstoppable Luka Doncic at crucial points in the game.
Overall, though, it wasn’t just Kawhi. Most players on the Clippers put out an incredible performance, one that would give them and their fans some serious hope into game-7. But, for some reason, Skip Bayless just can’t quite get into the mood, despite backing this team throughout the season. Let’s get into it.

“Clippers have been historically awful”: Skip Bayless doesn’t believe the franchise heading into game-7
When the LA Clippers dominated the 4th quarter before taking the victory, many in the NBA community assumed that Skip Bayless would once again brag about his pick to win it all. However, it seems that the tenured analyst is starting to lose confidence in the only remaining LA team in the playoffs.
His reasoning is frankly no weirder than his behavior. Those who believe Dallas will take this series have pointed that so far, all 6 games have been won by the away team. So, if the 69-year-old wanted to start making excuses, you’d expect the same reason, right?
Nope. Here is what he tweeted instead.
The Clippers have been historically awful in noon time Sunday starts, including this year. They just sleep walk. Sunday’s Game 7 will tip off at 12:30 LA time. Good luck.

Yes, you read that right.
Skip Bayless believes that Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers won’t lose due to the brilliance of the Mavericks on the road. They won’t lose because of LA’s disappointing performances at home. Nope, not at all.
Instead, they will lose, because there is a hoodoo on the franchise playing in the afternoon. Well, whether or not that is true, we know for a fact that this series has been a blast so far. And frankly, even if you’re not a fan of either team here, we seriously recommend you tune in for game-7.
