Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most impressive figures in sports. The 7’1″ giant has achieved so much in the field, both on and off the court. After all, being a four-time NBA Champion and a respected NBA analyst isn’t an easy career path.

So, when the Big Aristotle has an opinion, most people listen, especially, when he’s hyping something up. Like a recent video of NFL superstar DK Metcalf balling out in a pickup game.
Shaq shared a clip that dubbed the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver “DeBron Metcalf”. An understandable reaction, seeing as he was absolutely dominating his opponents.
Shaquille O’Neal hypes up Seahawks WR DK Metcalf who went into LeBron James mode during a pickup game
The NBA has some of the most athletic superstars. But, one league that probably stands just a little bit above them in that category is the NFL. A league that has some of the most naturally gifted athletes in the world.
A clear example of this natural athleticism is seen in DK Metcalf. The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver is built like an ox. Standing at 6’4″, weighing close to 235 pounds, and with a vertical jump of 40.5 inches, Metcalf is the poster boy of gifted athletes. And not just in football, but in basketball as well.
That’s right, the 25-year-old is quite the baller and a recent clip of him at a pickup game shows just that. In fact, DK was playing so well, that he was given the name “DeBron Metcalf” and even got a shoutout from NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

There can be no denying that Shaq’s praise is worthwhile. Metcalf is on another level and is completely capable of being a multi-sport athlete. He’s so good even LeBron James himself appreciates his ability.
LeBron James gave DK Metcalf the nickname “Baby Bron”
Shaquille O’Neal isn’t the only one impressed with DK Metcalf. Even LeBron James knows just how special an athlete the football player is. In fact, it was three years ago that The King dubbed him “Baby Bron”. All after he witnessed a superb performance from Metcalf against the San Francisco 49ers.

It’s clear to see just how amazing an athlete DK Metcalf is. It’s almost like there is nothing he cannot do. So, for the sake of every other NBA superstar, hopefully, he sticks to catching Hail Marys instead of catching lobs.
