It seems that the Wizards fanbase wanted to have an incident of its own. But Dwight Howard was better prepared than his teammates this time.

This year’s NBA playoffs have already seen an unnaturally high proportion of fan incidents already. Russell Westbrook was the first player targeted by fans. This incident happened at Wells Fargo Center, where a Sixers fan poured popcorn onto an injured Westbrook.
That very day, there were other such revelations of that nature. Knicks fans banned a fan for life after he was caught spitting at Trae Young on video. 3 Jazz fans have received a life ban for using racial and misogynistic slurs against Ja Morant’s family at Vivint Arena.
Now you’d think that this is already a comprehensive list of insults for playoffs that are less than 10 days old. But unfortunately, there’s already been more incidents in the past 2 days.
A Celtics fan threw a bottle at Kyrie Irving after Boston’s loss at the TD Garden last night. And today, we had a Wizards fan coming on court in the middle of Game 4 between them and the Sixers.
Dwight Howard hilariously reacts to court intruder in Sixers vs Wizards
Players are routinely told to do their best and avoid fan interactions during these Covid-affected times. However, when this particular intruder decided to invade the pitch, Howard couldn’t take a back seat from the action any more.
The fan came in from the Sixers’ baseline end, so Howard was already close to the action. The 35-year-old made sure he reached even closer to the intruder before speaking some choice words to him.
I really don’t care about this moron, I just want to know what Dwight Howard said to him. Because whule everyone else looked shocked or confused as hell, Dwight just leaned over to see what’s good pic.twitter.com/EwgozyWU21

The video doesn’t provide clear audio of what the former Lakers big man was conveying. But you can rest assured that it isn’t all that great.
