Kyrie Irving, known for his basketball skills, has gained attention for his belief in various conspiracy theories, most notably his assertion that the Earth is flat. His unconventional beliefs have sparked debates and raised eyebrows, making him a prominent figure among conspiracy theorists in the sports world. And, now he’s endorsing a new conspiracy theory regarding the smog that is covering New York in an orange haze.

From sharing stories about healing to recently delving into conspiracy theories surrounding the New York City skyline, he continues to captivate fans and generate discussion with his off-beat and bizarre social media posts.

Kyrie Irving notorious for being ‘Flat Earther’ shares conspiracy surrounding orange skyline in NYC

There are many conspiracies in this world and a lot of people endorse the same. Some of these endorsers even being major celebrities. And, in the world of sports, the biggest conspiracy theorist is Kyrie Irving. The basketball superstar has had many intriguing theories over the years.

Perhaps his most notable one is with regard to the “Flat Earth.” A theory that suggests the world is not round, but rather flat. But, this is just one of the many conspiracies he believes in. From his thoughts on the COVID-19 pandemic to his most recent comments on Anti-Semitism. Uncle Drew has quite the imagination, one that often gets him into trouble.

Well, recently Kyrie has begun endorsing another conspiracy. This one has to do with the New York City skyline, as it was filled with a cloud of smog that covered it in an orange haze.

He said:

“Something’s been happening in the sky they don’t want us to see.”

It is quite a farfetched theory even for Irving. And, while he may have his own thoughts about this, the actual reason for the orange hue in the sky is far more terrifying than anything he may come up with.

Kyrie’s latest conspiracy theory actually has a lot to do with the recent Canadian wildfires

Kyrie Irving may want to believe that there is some larger conspiracy going on with the orange skies in New York City, but the reality is far more terrifying. The actual reason behind the orange hue is the recent Canadian wildfires.

The fires initially began earlier this year in March and have become far more frequent this month. In fact, in what is considered a record-setting series of wildfires, all provinces of Canada have been affected except Nunavut and Prince Edward Island. These wildfires are now affecting 55 million people in the eastern US who are now under air quality alerts due to the smoke.

Safe to say, that Kyrie and the rest of the conspiracy theorists got this terribly wrong. Hopefully, this natural disaster can be averted from causing further harm to the people.
