“Giannis Antetokounmpo demands a trade”: The Greek Freak jokes about leaving the Bucks post winning the 2021 NBA championship
Giannis Antetokounmpo hints at leaving Milwaukee Bucks after delivering them a championship, giving a hilarious response to a reporter’s question.
The Milwaukee Bucks ended their 50-year championship drought this year. Giannis and co-delivered the city of Milwaukee their first championship since 1971.
Despite being down 0-2 in the series initially, the Bucks won their next 4 consecutive games. The Greek Freak was crowned Finals MVP.
Giannis averaged 35.2 PPG, 13.2 RPG, 5.0 APG, 1.2 SPG, and 1.8 BPG on a 61.8% shooting from the field. The superstar had 3 games with at least 40-points, including a Game Seven 50-point performance.
During the post-match conference, when reminded about his statement that he wouldn’t leave the Bucks without winning a championship, Giannis replied, with a dash of humor saying, he’s out now.

Giannis had the following to say, “This is a big moment for me and my family and I want to thank the Bucks organization for believing in us. You took a chance on us eight years ago and now putting my signature on a contract like this is unreal.”
