'Giannis Antetokounmpo does not workout with opponents': Bucks star turned down practice with LeBron James and role in Space Jam 2

Chris Haynes reports that Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly declined an offer to workout together with LeBron James.

The two time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo turned down LeBron James’ offer to work on Space Jam 2 together last year itself. Apparently, that wasn’t the only attempt made by LeBron James to spend time with the ‘Greek Freak’. If reports made by Chris B. Haynes are to believed, Giannis also refused the ‘King’ on his offers to workout together.

On the latest episode of the Posted Up podcast, Haynes reported that Giannis does not work out with anyone who isn’t on his team.

“Giannis doesn’t workout with anybody that’s not on his team. He doesn’t do that. He’s turned down working out with LeBron James and turned down being part of the ‘Space Jam 2’ movie. Giannis doesn’t do that.”

The ‘Greek Freak’ refusing to workout with LeBron is not a sign of disrespect on his part, it’s just the way he does things. He has time and again reiterated the fact that LeBron James is the ‘best player in the world’.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his plan for the Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo recently signed a massive extension deal with the Bucks. He is set to be in Milwaukee till the 2024-25 season, and has a player option for the last year of his contract. During his next 5 years in Milwaukee, Giannis hopes to win the NBA championship.

The Bucks had a very tragic end to their season the last time around. Antetokounmpo hopes this time things would be different. The Bucks have made quite a few changes in their roster this season, and would look to improve on their performance.

Giannis begins his 8th season in the NBA tonight, as the Bucks take on the Celtics at the TD Garden.
