'Giannis Antetokounmpo's barber inadvertently leaks his Bucks exit': 2-time MVP wished goodbye by his stylist amidst Heat trade rumors

Giannis’s barber may inadvertently have exposed his plans for a future away from the city of Milwaukee on an Instagram post.

It’s often said that the bond between a man and his barber is indeed a special one. For most people, the first thing they do after moving to a new place is looking for a good stylist.

Giannis seems like he might need a good barber wherever he plays next. At least, that’s the impression his barber has left on a number of onlookers who’re fishing for news of the 2-time MVP getting traded.

The Giannis contract situation with the Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks have offered a supermax extension to their best player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Bucks have exclusive rights right now to offer Antetokounmpo a five-year deal worth somewhere in the $220-250 million neighborhood.

It’s not just a flat dollar amount because the deal can be worth up to 35% of the salary cap with an 8% escalation in each subsequent year. He can make more money (or less) based on how much more money is available for the team to spend. It would be the biggest contract in NBA history regardless.

However, Giannis has made it clear that winning a championship has the highest priority on his mind. The 2-time defending MVP has a chance to make a final run with the team that drafted and made him a superstar. He could very well turn the extension down and move on from the franchise next offseason.

Whatever the scenario may be, we will learn Giannis’s future only after 21st December. Even if he does sign the extension, the possibility of a sign-and-trade very much exists.
