“Hornets Just Want to Be Put Out of Their Misery”: NBA Fans Divided With Ja Morant’s ‘Disrespectful’ Time-Wasting Trick

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies have done it again. They have come out of Charlotte with a resounding win. In simple words, the Hornets were humiliated without any mercy at their home court. There is definitely a reason to believe that Michael Jordan wasn’t too happy with his squad.

That being said, the Grizzlies were casually toying with the Hornets the entire game. However, the most disrespectful moment of the game came with just 3 minutes and 40 seconds left in the third quarter.

Ja Morant left an inbound pass untouched for over 20 seconds while Charlotte players waited helplessly. This was the most difficult thing to watch in the entire game. Seeing a team schooled and humiliated in this manner can be difficult. Fans were also divided by the move.

NBA fans divided over Ja Morant leaving an inbound pass untouched

After the video of Ja’s newest move went viral, fans were divided into major groups. Some believed that what Ja did was disrespectful and cringe. They criticized him for pulling off this move.

Meanwhile, there were others who praised Ja Morant for his game IQ and calmness. They were mighty impressed Ja pulled it off with such ease against the Hornets. And the Steven Adam screen at the end was just an added bonus.

Memphis Grizzlies continue their win streak

The Grizzlies are on a 4-game winning streak and look unstoppable at the moment. Ja Morant has been a key player in their success and dropped 30+ points against the Pelicans and Sacramento Kings.

With their latest win over Charlotte, Memphis is now tied at the top spot with Denver Nuggets. They both have 24 wins and 13 losses. Seems like the top two squads in the West are definitely heading to the playoff.
