"I'm Mic'd Up! Yeah MotherF**er!": LeBron James Crashes Austin Reaves' Post-Game Interview and Skip Bayless Throws Vitriol

The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James did not let a huge lead go on their second try. Against the Portland Trailblazers, they managed to stave off any threat to their lead. The game ended with a massive statement victory. Much to everyone’s relief, this time, the purple and gold came through.

Well, not to everyone’s relief, because Skip Bayless was hoping for another collapse. He did tweet out at halftime saying he does not expect the Lakers to capitulate, but one can only guess he said that with a smile as wide as the Grinch when he typed that out. Always one for stealing the happiness out of the Californians, Skip could not be given much tonight.

But they went and did exactly that—they won the game. Much to his chagrin, the Los Angeles Lakers required LeBron’s shooting after he put on an offensive clinic. He could not miss from anywhere, scoring at will. They easily closed out the game, 128–109.

And then he found one tiny flammable matchstick—the Grinch’s smile was back. LeBron James jumped into Austin Reaves’ post-game interview and said some expletives that would instantly cause a U/A certification for movies. Even after putting up 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists, Bayless found fodder to hate on the Lakers superstar.

Austin Reaves was a man of his own – his contributions did not go unrecognized – LeBron James jumped in to scream expletives

After an anemic start, Austin Reaves has hit his stride. Despite LeBron James’ return, his levels have not diminished. Strong showing in every game, and he was equally important in tonight’s win. He was rightfully called up to give his post-game interview, voicing his thoughts on the win.

Bron is known for crashing into post-game interviews. His meme face is commonplace in NBA circuits. Everyone knows it is a jest, except for the man disappointed in their victory.

Skip Bayless is on a Twitter Rampage – he cannot watch the Lakers celebrate

The Lakers have every right to be happy – their form is finally on the upturn. They’ve won 6 out of their 8 games, the same stat line for Bron’s shooting from the 3 tonight. But Skip, oh wonderful Skip, cannot handle their jubilation. Considering an 8 game sample, the Los Angeles team is one of the most in-form teams in the league.

Yes, they spoilt your good night’s sleep, and by their form, many more sleepless nights are yet to come. Darwin Ham has got his rotations almost dialed in. 3-6-0 are playing as a unit, albeit in two separate factions. But that split seems to be working, maximizing everybody’s weapons of choice.

But he seems to hate that fact and wants them to pipe down. Getting jealous of other people’s mirth is Skip’s calling. He truly is the Grinch.
