"LeBron James Led Lakers Up By 4, Cannot and Will Not Lose": Skip Bayless Hopes That The King Does Not Let The Lakers Slip Up a Second Time In 2 Games

Skip Bayless is supporting LeBron James. It does not happen often, but the TV presenter is supporting the man in purple and gold. LeBron saw his team blow a 17-point lead to the Pacers in a massive fourth-quarter capitulation a couple of days ago.

The game was surely won, but poor decision-making by Darwin Ham saw them give up the game’s biggest lead. If they had won it, they would have won 6 out of their last 7 games, making them the league’s most in-form team.

But, as fate would have it, LeBron was at the center of everything. The fourth-quarter collapse was entirely due to his poor shooting. The last bucket was all his too, leaving his man unmarked. Andrew Nembhard scored the winning shot on his face, and there was nothing he could do about it.

The game against Portland, sans Damian Lillard, seemed to be pushing towards the same trajectory, although Bron was locked in today. Skip Bayless hopes it stays that way; at least, that is what his tweet says.

LeBron James has had to face a lot of flak from the TV Presenter – he does not want more of the same

The 70-year-old man is not a fan of James. Any kind of performance he puts on, the man is always there to critique. Even if he had a 50-point triple-double, his turnover ratio would be high. But in this game, he seems to be extra-locked in. Bron has never acknowledged Skip in his life, but his performance today says otherwise.

At the time of writing, LeBron James has scored 6 three-pointers out of 8 attempts. Austin Reaves and James have put up an offensive show, but the game could be so much different if Lillard played. But if ifs and buts counted, the Lakers could have started the season 10-2, no?

How are the Lakers responding to the Loss against the Pacers?

In stunning fashion! Russell Westbrook is hitting his February form early, and the fans are enjoying it. His smile is contagious as he hits the quarter buzzer beaters. Brodie has turned his form around in remarkable fashion, and 3-6-0 might just be fine.

Anthony Davis, another MVP candidate, has maintained his high level of performance. But the biggest surprise has been Austin Reaves. He’s been a great replacement for Alex Caruso; he’s been doing it on both sides of the floor. A fantastic acquisition for the Lakers! The Lakers make it 8-12 with a statement win over Portland.
