"Is Jimmy Butler Locked to Make the Hall of Fame After...": Curious Questions Raised About Heat Star After Incredible Showings in the Postseason

Jimmy Butler has been an all-time great performer in the playoffs for some time now. For his career in the playoffs, the man has averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in the postseason. And while that may not seem like a lot, consider that his early years where he wasn’t quite as experienced are bringing down his stats quite a bit. But now, his numbers are on the up and up especially considering his incredible series against the Bucks. After watching it though, a certain Reddit user had a very curious question about the player. Is Jimmy Butler already a lock for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame?

Is Jimmy Butler getting into the Hall of Fame?

Getting inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame understandably means a lot to everybody in the NBA. However, the cruel thing is, not everyone gets in. No, it’s only meant for the absolute greatest players to ever do it. On which side of that fence does Jimmy Butler fall? That’s the question Reddit user ‘garret126’ had, a post that you can see below.

“Is Jimmy Butler locked to make the Hall of Fame after the round 1 series?”

Admittedly, there are two sides to this argument. On one end, you could say that the star still needs to get either a ring or an MVP to really guarantee his spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame. However, on the other side, there is also the fact that it has been much easier for players to get inducted off-late.

Whichever one of those arguments you may agree with, it is hard to deny that the man is deserving of this achievement on the most fundamental level of things here. Still, only time will tell if the authorities will decide to give this man what he truly deserves.

What are Jimmy Butler’s career averages against the New York Knicks?

Jimmy Butler is slated to lead his team against the New York Knicks in the second round. For his career, the man has averaged 16.8 points, 5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.6 blocks per contest. Additionally, he shoots an efficient 48.5% from the field, along with 32.8% from beyond the arc, and 79.8% from the free-throw line.
