The Los Angeles Clippers seem to have fallen into a soup. Having lost 7 of their last 8 games, Ty Lue’s boys have stumbled down to the 8th spot in the West. With Kawhi Leonard leading the LA-based franchise with Paul George sidelined, the Clippers have even suffered losses against the Timberwolves, the Hawks, and the Nikola Jokic-less Nuggets in this span.

While LAC seems to be struggling, one really has got to sympathize with PG13. The 6-foot-8 swingman hurt his hamstring early in the 2022-2023 season. Just a few games post his return and the 32-year-old reaggravated the same injury.

The Clippers are in desperate need of a win. A clash against the Rockets, the team with the worst record in the franchise, is exactly the kind of matchup that Kawhi and co. will target to stop the bleeding.
However, amid George’s hamstring issue, will he be suiting up tonight to help the team lodge their 23rd win of the campaign?
Paul George is to remain out against the Houston Rockets
Paul last suited up on the 5th of January for the LAC-Nuggets clash. After scoring only 3 points on a horrendous 11.1% shooting from the field, the 7-time All-Star went out after playing merely 14 minutes.
Since then, the 2013 Most Improved Player has missed out on 4 straight games.
As for his availability tonight, Paul is listed OUT and will be sidelined yet again. Apart from George, the likes of Luke Kennard and Moses Brown are also out, with John Wall and Marcus Morris listed as DOUBTFUL.
Paul George, Luke Kennard, and Moses Brown are OUT tomorrow for the Clippers.
John Wall (abdominal soreness) and Marcus Morris (left knee contusion) are DOUBTFUL.
Moussa Diabate is QUESTIONABLE with an illness.
Kawhi Leonard is unlisted and expected to play vs. the Rockets.

With the Rockets having listed Kevin Porter Jr. as DOUBTFUL, the shorthanded LAC have a really good chance at grabbing a huge win.
As for Paul George, there is not much to worry about. Despite missing out on the games, the man is getting his shots up in practice.

Only a matter of a few more days and George shall be cleared to make his return to the lineup.
