Is Stephen Curry Playing Tonight vs Wizards? Warriors Release Availability Report Ahead of Monday's Matchup

The Golden State Warriors suffered a brutal loss at the United Center last night. Playing the Chicago Bulls, the Warriors were handed a 132-118 loss. Stephen Curry and co have now lost four out of their last five games.

Despite having better-rebounding numbers, better shooting percentage, and higher assist numbers, the Achilles Heel of the Warriors struck again. Turnovers. The Bulls only had ten turnovers, whereas the defending champions had 23. The 13 turnovers differential cost the Warriors 31 points and, eventually, their 5th road win of the season.

Klay Thompson led the scoring for the Warriors with 26 points. Stephen Curry had 20 points, and Jordan Poole added another 15. Nikola Vucevic had a career night with 43 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 steals.

The Warriors now head to Washington for the back end of their back-to-back games. As they face the Wizards, fans wonder whether 30 will play tonight or not.

Stephen Curry will play tonight

So far, there has been no news from the Warriors camp about their 8x All-Star’s availability. He’s healthy and played 34 minutes in Chicago. Now, we get that he’s coming off an 11-game absence due to a shoulder injury, but he’s well-rested and is raring to go.

Unless the team management and coaching staff feel otherwise, Stephen Curry should be available for tonight’s game.

On the other hand, his Splash Brother, Klay Thompson, would not be playing on the 2nd night of a back-to-back. He hasn’t played on the 2nd night of back-to-backs yet this season, and the trend isn’t expected to change on this road trip.

We’ll have to see if Stephen Curry and co, can muster up enough scoring without Klay Thompson to take down the Wizards in DC.
