The Miami Heat literally overcame all the odds against them to knock the Milwaukee Bucks from the playoffs. Led by Jimmy Butler and his exceptional playoffs gene, Eric Spoelstra’s team was even more impressive considering the list of injured players. Tyler Herro has been absent since game 1 of round 1. Unfortunately, he is not expected to return anytime soon. Miami’s injury report marked him as out for the upcoming matchup against the Knicks.

Herro is undeniably one of the best offensive assets in Miami. His absence leaves them with limited options. The only solace Spoelstra will have heading into Sunday’s game is the likely return of Bam Adebayo.
What happened to Tyler Herro?
In the first game of the playoffs series, Tyler Herro broke his fingers while facing the Bucks. He was expected to miss at least 4-6 weeks due to the injury. This means Herro will not be available to play in the near future.

Even if Miami does manage to reach the Finals, there is no guarantee the youngster will recover enough to make a comeback. Considering he is the third-best scorer in Miami with 20.1 points per game, the 23-year-old is obviously an influential asset.
Butler has had to take much of the brunt of Miami’s offense with Tyler Herro absent. His scoring output in the series against the Bucks was sensational.
Hopefully, going forward, Jimmy can maintain a similar output and fill the hole created by his teammate’s absence. The Heat have already upset Milwaukee, the number 1 seed, and should be able to overcome the challenge Knicks present as well.
Expected Miami Heat Lineup in Eastern Conference Semifinals
There aren’t many changes Eric Spoelstra can make to his lineup. With Tyler still out, and Bam Adebayo probable, the lineup will likely look the same as it did on April 26th.
Max Strus and Gabe Vincent will start on the backcourt. On the other hand, Miami’s frontcourt will feature Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler, and Kevin Love.
