Isaiah Thomas to Warriors? NBA Veteran makes massive statement on joining Steph Curry
Isaiah Thomas to Warriors could become a reality next season, with the NBA veteran ready to team up with Steph Curry and co.
Isaiah Thomas looks for a new team after being waived off by the Clippers and has openly mentioned his interest in joining Curry and his Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors are expected to return to the playoffs next season as the squad will welcome back the likes of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson after a long hiatus. The Dubs finished at the bottom of the western conference this season after reaching five straight NBA finals from 2015-2019.
Isaiah Thomas to Warriors?
Isaiah Thomas has gone from a MVP candidate in 2016-17 to an outcast in three years. The former Kings’ guard has been marred by injuries in recent years and looks a shadow of his dominant self now. With Curry and Klay returning next year, the Dubs will have one of the best back-courts in the league and Isaiah might not get crucial minutes.
I need that warriors action. I’ll come off the bench serving!!! https://t.co/0dnyLQHdJD

However, the guard is ready to accept his diminished role as he wishes to resurrect his NBA career with the Dubs. With Isaiah’s proven quality, the Warriors might benefit from his presence on the bench. The Warriors should be able to assemble a good enough starting 5 for next season, but it is the bench that they would be a little worried about, especially after players like Iguodala leaving.
Reports of Giannis coming in have been rife and he would fit right in, as Warriors are looking for a dominant force that can drive to the rim, with Steph and Klay taking care of the perimeter shooting.

The Warriors have the required cap space to sign several players in the upcoming off-season. With cap-space opening thanks to the departure of superstar Kevin Durant and various fringe players, Steve Kerr and co. can go about a lot of reshuffling.
They will however, have to re-assemble various parts of the squad to mount a strong challenge in the west which now has great sides like the Lakers, Clippers and the Nuggets to go with old nemesis like Thunder and Rockets.
