"LeBron James is laughing from the sidelines": NBA Twitter reacts as Rajon Rondo hilariously sheds some tears upon hearing Anthony Davis and LBJ missed him last season

‘It doesn’t show in the stat sheet’: LeBron James is all praise about Rajan Rondo as Lakers beat Rockets 117-109 in Game 2

Game 2 was a redemption of sorts for the Lakers after they had a terrible outing in Game 1. Not only for the Lakers, but it was also an opportunity for Rajan Rondo to silence all the hate he had received after Game 1, and he did not miss out.

Rondo had been out since March due to back and thumb injuries. He played his first game in around six months, and he showed some obvious rust. Rondo was criticized a lot by Laker fans and naysayers alike.

All of that does not matter anymore as Playoff Rondo is here and he is here to win. Rajan Rondo had 10 points, 9 assists and 3 rebounds along with tremendous defense against James Harden and Russell Westbrook.

“It’s a plus to have him back” mentions a happy LeBron

LeBron James has always been appreciative of Rajan Rondo and has been glad to have the veteran on the Lakers. Bron pointed out that Rondo may not always show up on the stat sheets, but its’ the intangibles he does, on the offensive and defensive end that make him invaluable.

Rondo finished the match with a game-high +/- of +28. This clearly shows the kind of impact Rondo made coming off the bench.

Game 3, what do the cards hold?

After an outstanding performance by the Lakers in Game 2, where AD had 34 points, 10 rebounds and LBJ finished one assist shy of a triple-double, 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists, the Rockets would definitely look to make a comeback.

In the post-game interviews, Eric Gordon of the Rockets mentioned that they got the feel of the Lakers now, and they would look to counter the Lakers in Game 3.

The Lakers countered the pace that the Rockets showed in Game 1 with their own swiftness and the transition offense that they are so strong at.

Russell Westbrook did not have a good game, but he believes the next game would be different.

Game 3 on Tuesday would be an absolute thriller as each team would try to nick an advantage in the series.
