Kobe Bryant was famous for his work ethic and determination. Those were the primary qualities that led him to become the best. No matter if it was the Staples Center or any other court, The Black Mamba was often the first to arrive at the practice facility and the last to leave.

The 6ft 6’ shooting guard would put in a lot of extra work on his own to improve his game. He was also known for his relentless competitiveness, which drove him to be one of the best players of all time.

However, none of that helped the 18x All-Star dictate his day like this simple 15–20-minute routine did.

Kobe Bryant credits meditation for his calmness

Meditation was a daily routine for Kobe Bryant. It helped him in focusing and perform at a high level on the basketball court. In fact, he also credited meditation with helping him in staying calm and composed during games, and also in recovering from injuries more quickly.

If it took just 15-20 meditation to behold that rigorous and hectic Kobe Bryant day, we all should find time to follow suit of the $600 million worth of man. Maybe we would be successful in one of the N numbers of areas that man excelled at.

Bryant has also said that meditation helped him to “get into the zone” and to improve his mental and emotional well-being. Oh, you would want to know about his zone.

Kobe Bryant’s “zone”

Athletes often talk about the zone. But there must be differences in everyone’s zone. Kobe was one of one, so his zone as you could imagine must have been something otherworldly.

When in the zone, the Mamba was in a state of intense focus and determination. You can still see his old games and see for yourself when he would frequently enter that state out of nowhere during games.

“The Zone,” is nothing but a heightened sense of awareness and an ability to perform at their best. Indeed, it did bring the best out of one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

It could not have been as easy for other players to find the zone as it was for Bryant and maybe Michael Jordan. So, young athletes now know where to find it the best way. Meditation.
