Kobe Bryant Once Gave Insight Into Mamba Mentality, Shared GOLDEN Words To Deal With Self-Doubt

A player must have a whole combination of things before they can hope to succeed at basketball. They need to have practice under their belt, years of preparation, hard work, talent, skill, and so many other factors. However, one of the most important things is confidence. No one knew about this better than Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bean Bryant was the embodiment of hard work, consistency, and dedication. The Black Mamba poured his heart and soul into the game of basketball. He played at the highest level for 20 years and won five championships for the Lakers.

Kobe retired as one of the greatest ever to play the game. It was his Mamba Mentality that separated him from the rest. Even after he’s no longer with us, it’s his mentality that players all across the world are trying to embrace.

Despite all his success, Kobe was no stranger to self-doubt and feeling low.

Kobe Bryant once shared an advice regarding Self-Doubt

Kobe was drafted in 1996. Within his first five years in the league, Bryant was a champion. He ended up winning three rings before 2002 ended. However, his spat with Shaq created a divide and forced the Lakers to move O’Neal. This resulted in the Lakers falling off from being a championship contender to a team who had to find its footing again.

During that time, Kobe received a lot of hate and criticism. He went on to lead the Lakers to back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010. However, there was a rough patch for a few years.

Talking about the same, Kobe once said,

Embracing your own self-doubt and acknowledging it is the first step toward eradicating it. The Mamba gave us such incredible advice in such simple terms. He used it to win the final two championships of his career and we can use it to conquer our day-to-day demons.
