Chris Paul praises the LeBron James and Steph Curry during his postgame interview with Chuck following Suns win over Blazers.
The Portland TrailBlazers and the Phoenix Suns faced off last night in one of the more important games of the regular season. The Playoff implications of this game were massive as a win for the Blazers would mean they would cement themselves as a top 6 seed.

A win for the Suns would result in them getting closer to the 1 seed, but also pushing the Blazers into the play in tournament to avoid facing LeBron James and the Lakers in the first round of the Playoffs. Despite Damian Lillard’s 41 point outing, Chris Paul and the Suns clutched up at the end to steal a heartbreaker from the Blazers.
Chris Paul ended the game with 26 points on 11-14 shooting the field, while Devin Booker hit two clutch free throws to ice the game following a supposedly controversial call from the refs late in the game.
Chris Paul claims the West has always been tough and the Suns are up for the challenge.
Following the win over the Blazers, Chris Paul took to the sidelines to have an interview with the NBAonTNT crew. Here, Charles Barkley asked CP3 about having to potentially deal with a Western Conference powerhouse such as the Los Angeles Lakers in merely the first round of the Playoffs.
“The West has always been a beast. You can’t duck nobody if you’re trying to win it all.” @CP3 checked in with the Inside crew after Phoenix’s win. pic.twitter.com/jy0gi96bXg

The ‘point God’ immediately cut Chuck off and stated that the West has always been tough and that it’s just something the Phoenix Suns will have to overcome.
The Suns will most definitely not bow out to a contender out West without putting up a fight. Despite the lack of Playoff experience on the roster, Chris Paul has been an exemplary leader for the Suns and could take them deep into the postseason.
With shooting from everywhere on the court from guys like Jae Crowder, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and Cam Payne, the Valley runs deep down their roster. With two bonafide stars in Chris Paul and Devin Booker at the helm, the Suns will pose to be a threat to any team they play in a 7-game series.
