The Brooklyn Nets are undeniably the favorites to win the East at the moment. Many had their doubts regarding the team and their defense. But, a dominant performance against the Celtics reminded everyone of just how scary James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant can be on a team together.
Dubbed by many as the ‘ISO gang’, fans barely got to see this group perform together in the regular season. And, while many looked forward to watching them grow as a big three in the playoffs, it seems there may be trouble once again for the franchise.
In game one of the Bucks vs. Nets, the big three looked dominant and ready to wreak havoc. But, just a few minutes after the start of the match, something happened that could severely damage the franchise’s chances to win it all this season.

James Harden left Brooklyn Nets arena to get an MRI done on his right hamstring
Injuries are never a pleasant sight, to say the least. But, when you see a player struggling after aggravating an old one, just watching can be painful. And we must say, seeing the Beard walk to the locker room incited a very similar feeling.
For context here, James Harden missed as many as 23 games just this season because of a strain in his right hamstring. Worse, he had only very recently returned from it, making it possible that he wasn’t even at a 100% yet.
However, watching the player’s dominance and the team, this likely didn’t occur to most of the NBA community. And unfortunately for everyone involved, a very harsh reminder of this was served.
Nets’ James Harden is OUT for remainder of Game 1 vs. Bucks due to right hamstring injury.

In the opening moments of the first quarter, Harden was looking to get the offense going. As he drove hard to the basket, he came down a bit awkwardly. Still, it wasn’t bad enough to make fans worry until he started grabbing onto the back of his right thigh.
Pretty soon, it was clear that the former Rockets star was in no condition to continue. And given his body language, many have even speculated that he could miss this entire series.
Only adding to the tension here, it has been revealed that the 31-year-old has left the arena to get an MRI done. That can’t be good to hear for any Nets fan watching the game.
As fans of this beautiful game ourselves, we are intently hoping for the best possible news on the situation.
