“Alex Caruso should be happy just for being there”: Former Lakers star Nick Young takes digs at LeBron’s teammate for subpar play vs Suns
Alex Caruso and The Lakers surprisingly lost to the Suns 4-2 in the first round of the playoffs and failed to defend their NBA Championship.
The Los Angeles Lakers recently crashed out of the NBA playoffs after losing to the Phoenix Suns. Although LeBron James and company tried their best without Anthony Davis it was a little too much for Frank Vogel’s men.
While a lot of people thought that the Lakers will again challenge for the NBA Championships, it was rather a rough season for the Purple and Gold as they suffered multiple injuries to their best players in Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
They somehow sneaked into the playoffs through the playins and then they failed to impose themselves on the Phoenix Suns losing 4-2 in the playoff series. The Purple and Gold could have posed more threat if they had AD healthy throughout the series.
Barring a few changes this is the same Lakers side which won the Championship last season. However this season a lot of things went wrong for LeBron and company. Hence with their elimination a lot of people are taking this opportunity to roast and mock them.
Former Lakers player Nick Young takes digs at Alex Caruso after the Lakers were eliminated by the Suns

Caruso is a hardworking team player who likes to create chances for his teammates and is also quite solid in defence. He works hard and is rewarded for every minute he spends on the court for the Lakers. While he may never be a superstar but still he can have a great impact coming off from the bench.
While Nick Young has failed multiple times to make a comeback to the NBA. The 36-year-old shooting guard plied his trade for teams like Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and many others. He became the NBA Champion in 2018 with the Warriors when they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. Young got waived by the Nuggets and has not returned to the league ever since.
