When you say Christmas movies, what comes to mind? A family movie, where everyone can sit and watch, and Christmas cheer is spread throughout the movie? Or animated movies like Klaus or Frozen, that have elements of the snow? Whatever the case, Josh Hart thinks Home Alone is both the best and not the best Christmas movie. Puzzled? So are we!

Home Alone – a classic story where Kevin McCallister is left alone at home during Christmas and thieves decide to barge in. If you grew up in the 90s and 2000s you will know what we’re talking about. Kevin lived the dream all of us had – protecting their house in case of a robbery. What ensued was a hilarious 2 hours of robbers getting foiled, but if you think about it, it’s downright scary.
Plus which family nowadays can afford a family trip for that many people? Not when prices of avocados are hitting 1.2 Dollars per pound!
It is a very good Christmas movie, but is it the Best Christmas movie of all time? Like Jake Peralta says, Die hard is the best Christmas movie of all time.

Does Josh Hart know that the Mighty Jake Peralta is never wrong about Christmas movies?
Put The Grinch aside, because nobody is topping Jim Carrey when he has something Green on. Be it the Mask, The Grinch, or the Riddler, Carrey goes ballistic when he wears the color of the Nickelodeon slime.
Die hard is the best Christmas movie. Next to Batman returns

But to call Home Alone the best Christmas movie of all time, is like saying Chocolate Ice cream is the best flavor there is. Are you just going to ignore Mint Chocolate Chip, the best flavor there is? Die Hard is the mint chocolate chip of the movie World.
Bruce Willis, in his tank top and Khaki pants. Hans Gruber and Nakatomi Plaza. One rogue cop and several hostages. Christmas saved, the bad guy falling from the sky. What else do you want for Christmas?
Home Alone is like Die Hard, but for children. It may ring in the nostalgia, but as a native of Chicago, Kevin McCallister only raised more red flags for the city than green. To be afraid of Mr. Marley, a man depressed because his kids don’t visit, and calling him a “murderer”, was not what a kid’s movie needed.

Larry Nance Jr is right in asking for an explanation
Ignoring the “Rise of the Guardians”, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and Die Hard, Josh Hart went straight to a 1990 classic. While he is in the right ballpark, choosing the definitive answer – no chance.
We only rib, of course, because to be honest, nothing says Christmas like being alone at home with money for pizza, Kraft mac and Cheese at home, and a Tarantula that is free from my brother Buzz’s room.
Oh, and the greatest feeling in the world of kicking 2 robber’s behinds.
