"LeBron James and Kevin Durant win against Larry Bird and Magic Johnson in a 2 on 2": Quinn Cook sides with former Lakers teammate and Nets superstar in hypothetical debate

Quinn Cook believes LeBron James and Kevin Durant would win in a 2-on-2 game to 16 points against Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.

Debates between fans of the NBA from different generations is by no means a new phenomenon. In fact, you can probably find a new debate every single week on which era was better. If it was ever possible for this game to take place while the players were in their prime, arenas would surely be sold out. Unfortunately, time travel doesn’t exist. And sadly, unlike the Marvel Cinematic Universe, neither does an age reversal device.

And so, with it being impossible for fans to see this game, all we have left is debating what the result would have been. But we will say, some of the more organized arguments on the matter are fun to watch and provide good insight on the eras.

As a fellow fan of the NBA, which team do you think would win this grand clash of the eras?
