Debates between fans of the NBA from different generations is by no means a new phenomenon. In fact, you can probably find a new debate every single week on which era was better. Now, bigger names in the NBA community usually choose not to fuel the fire here. But it seems that Quinn Cook didn’t quite get the memo.

Quinn Cook picks LeBron James and KD over Larry Bird and Magic
Everyone has wondered if some of the greatest players from different generations were to face off, who would come away victorious. And it seems Quinn Cook had a similar question in mind. Here is the tweet in question.
Who wins in a game of 2on2 to 16?!?! Kevin Durant & LeBron James vs Magic Johnson & Larry Bird?!?! Who wins and why?! Y’all know who I’m rolling with!!

If it was ever possible for this game to take place while the players were in their prime, arenas would surely be sold out. Unfortunately, time travel doesn’t exist. And sadly, unlike the Marvel Cinematic Universe, neither does an age reversal device.
And so, with it being impossible for fans to see this game, all we have left is debating what the result would have been. But we will say, some of the more organized arguments on the matter are fun to watch and provide good insight on the eras.
As a fellow fan of the NBA, which team do you think would win this grand clash of the eras?
