Colby Covington doesn’t hold anything back when talking about LeBron James as he claims the 4x champ does not care one bit about China.
LeBron James is an individual who prides himself on being at the forefront of social reform and when it comes to injustices that take place within the United States. James was first on the scene when disproving against the unjust murder of George Floyd at the hands of now disgraced police officer, Derek Chauvin.

Though he may get a bit carried with his approaches to make his followers aware about certain situations, like he did with Ma’Khia Bryant, LeBron is usually well-intentioned when bringing these topics to light.
However, some LeBron James skeptics out there point out the fact that the Lakers superstar only talks about events that take place within his own nation. This became apparent when the NBA was at risk of losing all ties with China after then-Rockets GM Daryl Morey tweeting out a statement claiming he stands against what is happening to the Uyghurs.
Colby Covington calls out LeBron James for not speaking out about China.
Following the tweet made by Morey, the NBA said little to nothing about the situation and the players that play in the league went silent on the matter. Most notably, LeBron James receive an immense amount of flack for not speaking out against what China is doing in Hong Kong as they claimed he was ultimately driven by money and nothing more.
Colby Covington, a notorious LeBron hater, had more than a few choice words for the 4x MVP in regards to this matter. “He claims to be about social justice but he won’t say ‘Free Hong Kong’. He won’t talk about the Uyghurs that are locked away in concentration camps in China. He won’t talk about all the women he’s profiting off of in those Chinese sweatshops that are making his shoes.”
Covington wasn’t finished there however, as he called out LeBron James for using his ‘I Promise’ school as a way to deduct his taxes. “No, LeBron is not on a pedestal. That guy is a piece of crap. He’s a piece of garbage. He uses that school that he’s funding as a tax write-off and then wants to claim that he’s some good guy. No, he’s not a good guy man.”
