Seems as though LeBron James couldn’t have every wish of his granted as despite his disapproval of an All-Star Game being held this 2020-21 NBA season, Adam Silver has gone forward with having one in Atlanta. A multitude of NBA stars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo sided shared LeBron’s sentiment but it wasn’t enough to change the NBA’s higher-ups’ minds.
To hash out which All-Stars would be playing for what team going into the ASG, TNT broadcasted LeBron James and Kevin Durant’s picks merely a few hours ago.
With their picks down the hatchet, every NBA analyst took it upon themselves to try to break down which team captain made the better choices. Shaq claims that LeBron James had the better picks when it comes to starters as they are better shooters than KD’s starters. Skip Bayless took to Twitter to wholeheartedly disagree.
Skip Bayless disagree with Shaq who says LeBron James chose better shooters than Kevin Durant
With the starters pool of players always being the first off the board, LeBron James went with Steph, Luka, Giannis, and Jokic. KD picked up his teammate Kyrie, Kawhi, Tatum, Embiid, and Beal.
Shaq believes LeBron James has the better lot of the starters as they are better shooters than Durant’s starters. Bayless does not share a similar opinion to Shaq.
Shaq just said he’s gotta go with Team LeBron’s starters because of its shooters. Uh … Giannis can’t shoot. Neither can Luka. LeBron is often LBnoJ.

In all honesty, the only solid shooter Team Leron’s starters have is Steph Curry. LeBron James has been on a cold streak from beyond the arc and Giannis has never been able to develop a consistent jump shot. Jokic is capable of stretching the floor with his high-arcing 3s but not enough to be labeled a great shooter. Luka is also only a decent shooter at best.
The ASG does not depend on merely the starters however as the bench guys are more than capable of pulling their own weight when called into the game. Even with Durant out, both teams seem fairly equal in firepower. If this year’s ASG shows any semblance on last year’s, it will definitely be one for the ages.
