“LeBron James has violated Health and Safety Protocols”: The NBA sends a warning to Lakers MVP for partying with Drake ahead of Game 1 against Chris Paul and the Suns
NBA announces to the Lakers that superstar LeBron James recently violated their health and safety protocols.
LeBron James and the LA Lakers only recently clinched the 7th seed ahead of the NBA playoffs. It was after a worthy candidate of the game of the year, against the Golden State Warriors, where the king himself had to be the difference, hitting a clutch deep three-pointer, with Steph Curry in his face.
Since that shot, there has been a lot of optimism within the franchise and its fans. However, some recent news could go on to take the wind out of their sails within the next few days. And the news involves James himself breaking health and safety protocols, which could go on to keep him out of the playing roster for the series against Phoenix.
Without further ado, let’s get into it.
LeBron James was found attending a Tequila event along with other celebrities, ahead of the Lakers’ emphatic game against the Warriors
Lobos 1707 is a very popular brand of Tequila, and recently had an event involving countless celebrities. Some of the more notable being Drake, Michael B Jordan, and of course, LeBron James.
The NBA found that the player attended the event just prior to his game against the Warriors. And as soon as they did the Lakers were informed about the matter as well. Addressing the subject publically, this is what the league had to say.

“It’s a violation of the agreed-upon protocols. And, as we have in other comparable instances around the league, it has been addressed with the team.”
But, as bad as it looks, LeBron James may not face any bans or time on the sideline at all. Reports say that those who attended the event were required to show proof of either being vaccinated or a test recently taken being negative.
LeBron James is clearly the biggest attraction in the NBA right now. And given that the TV ratings are finally showing some positive signs, the league will not want to take another hit.
It might be unfair to other players, but LeBron James will likely not miss any time at all, or an offense, others would have probably had to quarantine for. So, Lakers fans can rest easy, knowing that the King will likely be playing tonight against the Suns.
