'LeBron James is the closest thing to a superhero': Lakers' owner Jeanie Buss explains why she holds 'The King' in such high regard

Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss heaps massive praise onto her superstar LeBron James, explains why he deserves so

LeBron James has certainly achieved an awful lot over the course of his long career. The 36-year-old is a 4-time MVP, 4-time Finals MVP, 17-time All-Star, a 4-time NBA champ, on the road to potentially a few more in the next few years.

However, the King isn’t just a basketball player. As a person with a massive platform in society today, he makes sure he speaks on any and every social issue and does his best to inspire the younger generation as well. Overall, he might just be the closest thing to perfect a human could be. It seems that Lakers’ owner Jeanie Buss couldn’t agree more.

Jeanie Buss speaks on why she admires LeBron James

Many in the NBA community have several different opinions about LeBron James and his lifestyle. Recently Buss got on the air with former player Matt Barnes on his podcast ‘All the Smoke’. Here, Barnes asked Jeanie Buss what LeBron James was like, and how much he means to the franchise. And with a sense of awe in her voice, here is what Jeanie Buss had to say.

“I like to say he’s like the closest thing to a superhero I’ve ever met,” Buss said on a recent episode of the “All the Smoke” podcast. “In that, he’s so powerful and strong and smart, but he does things for the good.”

From how LeBron James has always presented himself to the world, superhero seems like a very fitting adjective. The things he does off the court are equally as important, if not more. As fans of the chosen one, we hope that we can keep witnessing his greatness for seasons to come.
