Skip Bayless sees nothing differently on the Michael Jordan-LeBron James debate even on the occasion of the Lakers star’s 36th birthday.

Bayless made the preposterous statement that James is the biggest self-promoter in sports history last morning. Despite being 69 years old and in college during the era of Mohammad Ali’s dominance, Bayless still has the cheek to make this comment.
“LeBron James is simply the greatest self promoter in sports history. He’s the self-proclaimed King, the phony GOAT, and he’s convinced billions of blind witnesses he’s better than Jordan!”
The cult followers, the blind witnesses are at it again. They had this trending, suggesting once again that LeBron James is better than Michael Jeffrey Jordan. That is the single biggest fallacy in the history of sports. More @Undisputed, now on FS1 https://t.co/OmsVY6JduS

Skip Bayless takes dig at LeBron James while putting Michael Jordan on the GOAT pedestal
Time and again, Skip has continued to take petty, meaningless shots at LeBron. On the rare occasion that he does actually make a valid point, the prefacing is still downright cringey. It’s sometimes quite obvious that Bayless is just looking to get reactions from people.
This isn’t one of those occasions, however. Bayless has maintained this stance, and so have a lot of others, that a great player does not need to talk about his greatness. Jordan never called himself the GOAT, even though practically everybody else did. But Bayless is obviously wrong about the extent of James’ self-promotion.
Ali was the one who called himself ‘The Greatest’.
“The cult followers, the blind witnesses are at it again. They had this trending, suggesting once again that LeBron James is better than Michael Jeffrey Jordan. That is the single biggest fallacy in the history of sports.”
Well as they say, even a dead clock is right two times a day. Perhaps we just caught Bayless at the right time, on this occasion.
