Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James shows signs of giving up in the final minutes of Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns

The Pheonix Suns are not done. They have stomped their way back into the series, as they took Game 4 from the Lakers on their home ground. The series is now leveled at two apiece, as the teams head back to Phoenix for Game 5. The Suns scrapped the 100-92 win over the Lakers by playing like a team. Each individual provided valuable contributions. The Suns had six different players scoring in double digits. Chris Paul led the scorers with 18 points and 9 assists. Devin Booker and Jae Crowder scored 17 apiece each. DeAndre Ayton scored 14 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.
As for the defending champions, things don’t look so good. Anthony Davis had to exit the game with a groin injury. Even though his status is day-to-day, groin injuries rarely work that way. LeBron James scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. However, the absence of AD on the floor could not be filled by the Lakers’ bench and role players.
“Michael Jordan would have never given up”: Fans taunt LeBron James for his play
Late in the fourth quarter, the Lakers were down 95-88, and Dennis Schroder missed a tough lay-up. Instead of running to the defense, LeBron James was seen taking a moment and then jog back to the other end. Till then, Jae Crowder and the Suns took the man-advantage and hit a dagger 3.
Top notch effort from Lebron here….just gives up.

This did not sit right with the fans. If this dagger 3 would not have been hit, the Lakers had enough time to make a comeback and tie the game. If LeBron had made his way back on time, the outcome of the game could have been different.
Fans were not happy about the same. They let the same be known through their tweets and replies.
Motivation is temporary. Not the mamba mentality. Not even close.

The Lakers may have to go into Game 5 without Anthony Davis. However, LeBron James has assured fans that he is up to the challenge. Game 5 takes place on Tuesday.
