“Like Steph Curry needs to doctor a video?”: Kenny Smith shocks Ernie by suggesting Warriors faked the video of Curry making 105 straight 3-pointers

Kenny Smith will be getting a ton of hate in a few days after he speculated today that Steph Curry might not have made 105 3-pointers in a row.

Kenny certainly got Shaq’s juices flowing. The TNT broadcast was playing the viral clip posted by the Warriors showing Curry connecting on 3-pointers for 5 straight minutes. Curry got up an otherworldly 105 attempts in that stipulated time. He is possibly the only person on the planet capable of this.

Steve Kerr even went so far as to say that Curry had set a Guinness world record. The Jet, on the other hand, thinks otherwise. He believes the Warriors social media doctored it just in time to divert their attention from the Warriors’ rough start.

Kenny Smith thinks Steph Curry video may be doctored, Ernie is bamboozled

When Kenny first proposed that the Curry video might be fake, Ernie was scandalized. He promptly asked Kenny about his thought process, to which Kenny replied:

“I don’t know if that’s continuous video….this is a video, Ernie! Oh now we’ve never seen a video edited in our life? He hasn’t come out and said I made 105 3-pointers in a row.”

Ernie was not having any of it, responding with, “Like Steph Curry needs to doctor a video to prove his greatness.”

Shaq wasn’t particularly amused either, especially since he likes Steph so much: “I’m not gonna let you disrespect my favorite player. He did that, there was no editing, cut it out.”

All in all, Kenny comes off pretty bad in this one. The video definitely does not seem edited on the surface, at least not for someone who probably doesn’t have a trained eye.
