Lou Williams and Kendrick Perkins found themselves in the middle of a Twitter spat when Perkins expressed disappointment over Lou’s ‘chicken wings’ extravaganza.

Lou Williams has been subject to a lot of criticism in the last 48 hours, ever since news broke of him visiting an Atlanta City club whilst being away from the Bubble due to personal reasons.
While he initially denied any such ‘visit’, it was later found out that Lou did in fact go to the Atlanta City Magic Club to get some wings.
With Perkins comparing his maturity to that of Zion Williamson, Lou was quick to respond on Twitter, suggesting that this was the first time someone had any dirt on him in his 15 year long career.
15 years in this business and the most dirt you have on my name is stopping to get hot wings during a pandemic. Perk. Shut up. And stop laughing and saying it’s just tv when you run into me too. https://t.co/2xnCpG9I1J

Kendrick Perkins’ comment about Lou Williams on TV
Kendrick Perkins made a comment about the issue recently on an episode of ESPN’s GetUp in which he emphasised on the amount of work and effort the NBA has put to ensure that the restart goes smoothly.
He stated, “Come on Lou Will, you gotta do better, man. During this pandemic, you have to do better.”
He further stated, “Lou Will is a 16-year vet. He knows better. He should know how to be more mature. You got a guy that’s a rookie in Zion Williamson who left for a family issue and he handled it way better than Lou.”
Here is a tweet which has the video of his interaction on ESPN.
It’s disturbing when a Rookie in Zion Williamson can act more Mature than NBA vet Lou Williams!!! https://t.co/FlWgDBEXRU

Actions and Consequences for Lou Williams
Although Lou has been pretty cavalier about this whole incident, he has to now face the consequences of his little escape
The NBA has made him undergo a mandatory 10-day quarantine period. Due to this, he will miss out on the first two games of the NBA restart, chief among them, the opening game against the Lakers. This could prove to be a huge blow from Doc Rivers’ squad.
