‘Mavericks identify 3 guards to partner with Luka Doncic’: Mavs have decides to go all-out in the trade market
The Dallas Mavericks are looking to strengthen their team even further to make a deeper push in the playoffs.
The Dallas Mavericks had a very strong showing in the 2019-20 season. Ultimately, their season was cut short the Clippers. But they showed glimpses of what they can do at full strength. Mark Cuban and his front office are making sure that they help out their stars as much as they can for the same.

There have been new reports that the Mavericks are looking at 3 possible trade options that get them a star guard, that can complement Luka Doncic. The Mavericks are pretty strong as of now as well, but they too, just like all NBA teams are looking to get stronger. One way of doing so is to help their young star Luka Doncic as much as they can.
Dallas Mavericks looking to make a trade for one of three star guards
Spencer Dinwiddie, Jrue Holiday, and Victor Oladipo. These are the three names on the Mavericks list of players that they want to go after. The Dallas Mavericks have a lot of trade capital, with their first-round pick this year and also their frontcourt pieces.

There are reports that the Pelicans and Pacers are both listening to offers they are getting for Holiday and Oladipo respectively. There has been no indication so far from the Nets that they want to trade Dinwiddie.
Out of these three, the most experienced player and the one who would fit the best would be Jrue Holiday. He is on the list of a lot of teams who want to pick him up and get him to their team.
He has been on All-Defensive teams twice and can shoulder some of the playmaking and ball-handling burden from Luka. He has been in the league for quite some time and has a lot to offer as well. He might also end up being the costliest of the three options, but probably worth it as well.
