‘Warriors offered interesting trade packages for no.2 draft pick’: Steph Curry and co. could see another star in Bay Area
With the Draft not that far away, rumors are emerging that the Warriors are getting quite a few deals for their draft pick
The NBA Draft is on 18th November. With just about a week to go, things are as uncertain about the draft as they were a few months ago. No single member of this draft class is a ‘can’t-miss’ prospect. This year’s draft class is the first class in the last few years where people cannot put their finger on who the top player is.

There were rumors flying that the Timberwolves might trade their draft pick, and now the same rumors are flying about the Warriors too.
With no real superstar emerging from this draft class, most teams with good draft picks are trying to get a sweet trade package under their belt.
Warriors might trade down their draft pick
The Golden State Warriors have had a year of rest and now they’re on the lookout to retake the spot as the top team in the league. For this, they still need a powerful big, who can dominate the paint and be a potent shot blocker. They can look to acquire one through free agency or get one through trade.

Reportedly quite a few offers have been made. None of them have piqued the Warriors’ front office’s interest the way they wanted. The Warriors front office has made no statement confirming/declining their plans about the draft pick.
The Warriors have been known to make surprising trades and signings, and as of now, one is expected from their front office. The franchise would like to make the most of their Big 3 for as long as they can. With Steph Curry turning 33 next year, and Klay turning 30 recently, they will look to capitalize this time, while their core is still in their early 30s.

The Warriors would look to dethrone their California rivals and retake the title. It won’t be an easy task, but Splash brothers will be up for the challenge.
